SHORT SYNOPSIS

A dystopian, post apocalyptic thriller, exploring the depravity of the Collectors, a terrorist organisation that have seized government control; and one man’s desperate attempts to survive their thirst for blood.

SYNOPSIS

The cannibal terrorist organisation known as the ‘Collectors’ have struck a deal with those in power to seize and control the population. A year into their gruesome reign, they have divided society into groups, according to functionality. Some, the ‘Brown’ ones, are ‘intended for the mines’, some, the ‘Officials’, intended for administration and the writing desks and some, the ‘Delicates’, they intend to eat. One man, a ‘Delicate’, destined for the Collectors’ dining tables, has been surviving in the subterranean caverns of the crumbling city. He is weak, afraid, slowly losing his mind. His chance discovery of a camcorder during one of his dangerous trips above ground, which he takes to forage for food, becomes an impetus for decisive change. The camera in the 8mins of battery that remain, becomes a record of his journey from a faint and feeble to a strong courageous man intent to join the IPE, a group of brave Resistance fighters, which group in order to join, requires fighters to undergo gruelling physical and mental tests. Will he make it to the IPE or are the Collectors already onto him?
